Congratulations to MIT economist Esther Duflo who brings home a MacArthur Genius grant!
Also honored was my old friend John Rogers, a physicist doing fascinating applied work on flexible electronic devices who was in the Society of Fellows with me.

Congratulations to both Esther and John!
I truly admire Esther Duflo. As a woman in my mid-20′s, it’s inspiring to see such a remarkable person not only accomplish the things she has in a relatively short career, but also to see her being acknowledged for those contributions.
